How We Can Help

Support in the community empowers and enables you or your loved ones to do more of what you want to do. If you want to get out and about, do more of what you enjoy, or try something new, Carer’s Network can support you.
Depending on your eligibility, this in-home support service can be provided on its own through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, or with other services as part of a Home Care Package.

Examples of Community and Social Support:

  • Building or maintaining current friendships or relationships
  • Becoming more physically active
  • Accessing community groups
  • Learning new skills
  • Growing your knowledge and confidence of using public transport and getting around
  • Going on a holiday
  • Joining a new group or pursuing a new interest
Whatever you decide to participate in, our team of qualified Support Workers are here to assist you in accessing the community, safely and meaningfully.
