Remaining in your own home and being cared for in the way that you, or your loved ones want is essential to maintaining quality of life.
About the Support at Home Program
Government-subsidised funding (Support at Home) helps older Australians stay independent, healthy and socially connected while continuing to live safely in their own homes. In most cases, you’ll also contribute towards the cost of care, based on your personal circumstances.
There are eight levels of funding, based on your individual care needs. This funding can be used for personal care, domestic assistance, home maintenance, home modifications, assistive technology and more, all designed to help you live well at home for longer.
The eight levels of funding are outlined below.
Levels of Government Funding for In-Home Care:
Funding Level 1
$2,752.50/quarterly
$11,010.01/yearly

Eligibility and applying for an assessment
Before Carer’s Network can help you access government-subsidised in-home care, you’ll need to check your eligibility and apply via My Aged Care.
Once you have determined your eligibility and what supports you are able to access, Carer’s Network can assist with the coordination and implementation of your support.
However, we are able to provide you with privately funded care while you wait for your Support at Home to be allocated.
