What Is Whistleblowing?
Whistleblowing is when someone raises concerns about illegal, unsafe, or unethical behaviour involving Carer’s Network employees or representatives. Speaking up helps us identify issues early and take appropriate action.
What Can You Report?
You are encouraged to report concerns if you reasonably believe any of the following has occurred:
- Illegal conduct or breaches of the law
- Breaches of Carer’s Network policies
- Fraud or suspected fraud
- Theft or misuse of funds or property
- Significant mismanagement or waste of resources
- Abuse or misuse of authority
- Serious risks to the health and safety of employees, customers, the public, or the environment
- Actions that may damage Carer’s Network’s reputation
- Retaliation against anyone for reporting misconduct
What Whistleblowing Does Not Cover
The whistleblowing process is not for personal or work-related grievances. Employees with workplace concerns should follow the Carer’s Network Grievance Policy and Procedure.
How to Make a Report
You can make a confidential whistleblowing report through any of the following methods:
