About the role:
Carer’s Network is on the search for some Domestic Assistants to join our team. It’s more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those that need it the most. In this rewarding role, you will be expected to provide a wide range of domestic assistance services to support and empower our clients, so they can lead a life they way they choose.
Your main responsibilities will include the following:
- To manage a caseload of consumers in our Home Care Package program. The role will consist of end-to-end management of our Home Care Package clients.
- Responding to inbound calls from potential new customers about the services we provide and conducting assessments and reviews when there is a new client intake.
- You will guide our new clients through every step of the way during their onboarding process and provide ongoing support.
- Ensuring that all our clients’ care management, is proactively managed and their needs implemented and communicated, in line with the My Aged Care guidelines.
- Ensuring that all coordinating services and compliance are within business guidelines and meet quality standards.
- Ensuring exceptional high standards of report writing/case notes are all up to date and any concerns regarding your client are proactively managed.
About you
- Must have strong understanding of My Aged Care
- Highly motivated with strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal (essential)
- Have a compassionate approach to care and improving the quality of others’ lives.
Experience/Qualifications
- At least two years’ industry and case management experience within the health care or home care sector (essential)
- Degree or Diploma in Community Services is not essential but would be highly regarded.
- Current Australian Driver License (essential)
Salary
- $75,000 – $85,000 per annum + a company vehicle and superannuation
