Victorian Child Safe Standards
Our organisation is fully committed to upholding the Victorian Child Safe Standards. This commitment includes ensuring the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, supporting children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and providing a secure, inclusive environment for children with a disability.
All allegations and concerns regarding children’s safety based on reasonable belief will be treated seriously and investigated appropriately. Furthermore, all reportable incidents and complaints will be raised externally with the relevant authorities.
We expect all levels of the Carer’s Network to champion and model a child-safe culture. This involves actively expressing support for child safety, taking immediate action when concerns arise, and ensuring that the protection of children remains a priority in our everyday practice.
